hi yall... im posting my abstract cuppa tea storyboard... I went to see 9 in the movies tonight, (SPOILER ALERT... dont read if you havnt seen it). The ending was a little bit disappointing because he didnt put their souls back in their bodies... which is basically what we was talking about today in carolines class, people need a good happy/stable ending... I dont always want a happy ending, there was a time I went completely off them, but i think this movie needed one, because you really liked the characters in it... and I watched UP last night, that was good too... good old pixar pull it out of the hat again... anyway heres the storyboard...

hi yall... i got my idea for my taxonomys assignment... im gonna watch a feature animation like toy story and list the basic move cycles, like the walk, run, jump, get up, etc, etc. then im gonna model a character in maya and copy them. i reckon that there is probably not that many basic move cycles, so if i can get the basics down, thatll be excellent..

ok, what else, oh yeah, lasst night i copied a dragon out of the magazine 3D Artist.. check it out...

and tonight i done a life sketch...

and yesterday Bre gimme the la baron sketch, so when i post this im gonna watch it......... ring a ding ding.....

Hi all... yeah i know, its been a week odd since i first dabbled in the pool that is the blog, could i say i been too busy, maybe... could i say i forgot, suppose so... well i guess its a bit of both, i been so busy with this weeks homework ( consiquences) and the script writing/ comic strip thing, that i kinda forgot. soz... anyway like i said i been working on the animation, ive completed the drawings, so know i just gotta put them in prem and make a dvavi. heres a still from the masterpiece... :-) its a russian dancer, i got the idea because there was not enough space for the legs on the template, so i thought id do a russian dancer...
I aslo did some nice charcol life drawing this week, everyones getting better and its only week 2... cant wait till xmas, well all be wicked... my cameras not here at the mo so ill post some more pics when i pick it up.
the class brought in 3 animations this week, they was all pretty good, but my fav of the day was bre's office animation... i keep singing rinky dink dink.. :-)

Yesterday was my first real day back in uni, it felt great to be learning again. the 50 photos presentation was good, with some great photos by the peeps... traditional ani was fun too, trying out the software. then into town for the life drawing... that was a first :-). she didnt sit still like i was expecting, she was walking around for the first 15mins, so you had to be quick on the draw, then when she did sit down, it was only for 5mins at a time before she made another pose (by the time you got to her hands and feet shed moved, doh!). the lady teaching us said we had to draw something everyday, so i drew my wifes feet ( feet and hands are tricky, so im gonna be concentrating on them for a while), and sienna my big bad dobe :-) ).
only fleeting ideas so far on the head, body, legs animation, and the taxonomy assignment. i still havnt been able to get to my PC for the analyse animation homework, so ill get up early tomoz and go and do that... justin.
